    Awesome harness...
I absolutely love this harness. I'm using it right now for my 9-year-old male Doberman, Moe, who is having neck issues. It slips on and off so easily without having to lift his front legs and takes the pressure off his neck when I'm walking him. Love it!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this harness. It is strong, light, easy to put on and comfortable for the dog. The fit for my Doberman is perfect too. if I knew how good it was, I would certainly purchased it earlier.

This was chief’s puppy harness. It fit perfectly well. The only disadvantage was that it didn’t grow much with him around the front strap. I wish it were more adjustable there. But during the time he wore it as a pup, it was absolutely perfect and he liked wearing it.

    Hurtta padded harness
Love this harness I gave multiple and in different sizes. My blind shih Tzu Stevie wears one like this so thst I can grab the back strap if I ever need to help him out of a bad situation. Its a great harness very well made and very durable and believe me my dogs put everything to the test. I live all the hurtta harnesses.

Great harness but runs a little small
I ordered the black harness for my adult newfie. It's a little tight for him but fits my younger newf just fine. It's a great harness and I like the handle on the top for those times when you need more control with your dog. Now that I've tried both types of harnesses, I can say both work very well. I may just order a larger size for when my youngster outgrows this one.

    Great harness
I love this harness. I was not sure it would fit my Doberman but, it fits beautifully. The quality is fantastic, the padding does not rub or pinch anywhere. Now, I'm going to try the Y harness for my other Doberman.

    Hurtta Harness
Love this harness for my two active border collies. It's great for hiking with the clip on the back and the handle has been a nice feature too. My dogs do a lot of swimming and the neoprene dries quickly as compared to their regular buckle collars. The dogs seem comfortable in them too. They are also SUPER easy to put on/ take off which is nice for my husband! He doesn't have to rely on me to get the dogs suited up! 😉 We LOVE the Hurtta line for our active lifestyle!

My doggie pit bull mix) likes it a lot, it seems like the padding protects her so she doesn't get chafed. Would recommend highly.

    Love the harness!
We love this harness. Our doberman's other harness was chafing his armpits. We no longer have this problem. It also feels more secure. The harness is also great because it is really easy to take on and off!

    The best harness ever!!
I own a coton de tulear and have had a very hard time finding a harness that is easy to put on and off and fits well. Still in search of a harness that works, I ordered the Hurtta padded harness. I was a bit nervous buying this sight unseen, given my previous experiences. However, this is THE BEST harness I have come across. It is very easy to put on/take off, and is very well made. The padding is all in the right places and there are no plastic parts that are next to the dog's coat - nothing next to the dog that will chafe. If you are looking for a GREAT harness, don't hesitate - buy this! You won't regret it!

    Questions and Answers

Q: Is the part that fits under the arms also padded? For my dog, that is the sensitive part that gets irritated by harnesses.
    Asked by: Charles - 4/30/2014
    A: Hi Charles
The strap that goes under the dog is not padded on the bottom part due to it being adjustable.
The padding covers down to under the buckle and is attached with a little plastic thingy to keep it in place.
    Thank you,

Q: My dobermans are in-between for siz. Should I go up a size or down a size?
    Asked by: Meg - 8/19/2014
    A: Hi Meg
I would say go up a size as the size indicates the biggest it adjusts out to.

Q: Hi Katja, I see that this harness is available in the 18" and 24" sizes. My miniature poodle has a 20" chest circumference. Would either of these sizes be a good fit for him? Thanks.
    Asked by: Alice - 5/28/2015
    A: Hi Alice
I would recommend size 24” as 18” will be too small. The size indicates how big the harness adjusts out to.

Q: I measured my Rough Collie and his neck size is 21 inches and his chest size is 30. I am unsure what size to get him. I am interested in the padded harness in black. In your video you mentioned that you would go to the size under what the actual measurement is. What size should I order? Thank you.
Asked by: Jo Marie - 5/3/2018
    A: Hi Jo,

With the measurements provided I would order size 32" in this Harness.

    Thank you,
