    Description

The Slush Combat Suit has been launched in the new Granite/Bolete (yellow) color combination, and the two other colors Juniper/Birch and Granite/Raspberry have been discontinued. Therefore some size/color combinations are no longer available.

The Hurtta Slush Combat Suit is made from a new high performance material known from human wear. Light and strong and very comfortable for the dog to wear. Makes no sound when the dog moves and does not restrict movement. Wind and Waterproof, and dirt repellent. Covers the dog from head to tail plus all four legs without restricting bathroom breaks for neither boys nor girls. Adjustable two places on the neck plus at the waist line. Bottom of legs can be tightened for the perfect fit with snap buttons. Zipper down the back makes for easy on and off and an opening on the back ensures you can attach a leash when a harness is worn underneath. 3M reflectors for safety and visibility. Perfect for longhaired dogs that needs to be kept clean, dry, and snowball free, but don't need any added warmth, as these overalls don't have any insulation or lining. Keeps your dog dry and clean which also means your house stays clean. Machine Washable.
Available in Granite and Juniper in 20 newly revamped sizes to accommodate an even greater variety of dogs.

To determine what size your dogs needs, please measure your dog according to the measuring video below. Back length is the main measurements, and then the chest and leg length determines which size to choose within a back length. Please see charts below.

When trying the suit on your dog, make sure to tighten the lower neckline, like shown in the video, in order for it to sit correctly around the neck, rather than back on the shoulders.

I've been waiting to be able to use the coveralls in the snow...and now I have! My giant schnauzer absolutely loves to play in the snow but last year it would take me hours to get all the ice balls out of his coat. These coveralls are an answer to my prayers!!! I took him out today and he didn't even know he had them on! And when he came in, other then his feet he was dry and no snowballs! I might just have to order another pair. Don't let the price deter you. This a quality item and completely as is advertised. I am so happy I bought them, and I would like to add that the customer service is beyond great! A real pleasure to deal with, even if you have to make an exchange! Thank you so much!

First time used out in snow...dogs like them and they seem to have full movement in suits and were dry where the suit covered them.

    Just OK
If I didn't already have the Hurtta rain overalls (now discontinued) I might love this item. However, I don't think it fits my dog as well as the overalls. It's almost like a tube, where the other is more fitted. I thought I would like this style better because it covers the neck whereas the former doesn't, but I have to keep pulling it up when he's walking. The legs are also shorter than the prior style. Like all Hurtta products, it's well made and I do like the material. So it's OK, but I don't love it.

I also have the previous model Hurtta overall to compare with. I bought size 24L and it fits my German Shepherd Dogs weighing 70 - 78 pounds. The L leg length covers them to their the tops of their feet. I do wish the elastic around the groin were tighter to cover the stifle better. Rain beads up on the fabric which is quieter than the overall. Also the zipper works more smoothly. The snap at the shoulder is not sturdy enough to hold the back together while I zip. There should also be a snap over the rump to help with zipping on an impatient dog. I like the fit of the collar and the slimness of the legs. I would buy this product again.

    Great Product!
This is a great product, just the item that. I am looking for here in Korea where we have wet summers and snowy winters. There are very few outlets that sell rain/snow apparel here in Korea so I am glad to find an internet alternative. My dog had no problem adapting to the clothe and runs around as if she wasn't wearing anything. I would buy from Hurtta again. Also, Eurodesign service is very efficient and friendly, so. I hope that they succeed in delivering quality service to even more people.

    Keeps him dry
I bought the Hurtta Slush Combat suit for my 11 lbs full coated Havanese to help protect him from the cold rains we get in the winter. The suit fits (12S). It covers his body and upper legs. The part of his body that is covered stays dry. He has no issue with tending to potty business when wearing his suit. Excellent product!

This suit is perfect for my Golden Retriever! I was dreaming of something like that since a long time. It was particularly appreciated at Spring when we have a lot of slush. My only remark is that the fabric is not completely waterproof . Thank you for this helpful coat!

    Love Hurtta Slush Suit!
I purchased the Slush Suit to prevent snowballs forming on my dog's fur during winter walks. The suit totally does the trick! No snowballs and post-walk clean up is easy. It took very little time for my dog to adjust to the suit and now when he sees it he knows it means "walk!". I highly recommend.

Couldn't be happier with the fit and performance of this suit. She MAY feel a little silly wearing it, but, surely, our one year-old Labradoodle appreciates staying mess-free; I know I certainly do! Mother Nature has been in a really bad mood this winter .... The design and construction of this suit are superior. I was reluctant to spend this much for dog clothing, but it was a worthwhile investment! Highly recommend.

    Questions and Answers

Q: Is there a difference in leg length for 35S and 35M? How long are they? I have a bigger havanese(15lb)in full coat. I bought him outdoor overall last year and i am not very happy with it becaust it doesn't have neck protection. I haD TO BUY SIZE 32 BECAUSE SIZE 35 had very short legs. Result is that he fit into it, but it is very tight. I do not want to make another mistake! I love your shop and your prices! Huurtta stuff in Europe has aproximately 30 percent higher prices! Sincerely Marina
Asked by: Marina seric - 9/11/2013
    A: Hi Marina
Leg length on size 35S/14S is 9-10cm/4" and on 35M/14M they are 11-12cm/4 1/2" so not a whole lot of difference. However they are longer than 35M/14M in the Outdoor Overalls.
    Thank you,
    Katja

Q: Need help w/order size plz. Dog is 24.5" neck to tail, 15 " front legs, 16" back, collar 18.5"? Thx!
    Asked by: Jamie - 9/22/2013
    A: Hi Jamie
Sounds like you need a size 24M. Leg length is 9 1/2" so will be fine.
As long as your dogs chest measurement is less than 34" they should fit.
    Thank you,
    Katja

Q: How do I measure my Italian greyhound to fit Hurtta Slush Combat Suit?
Asked by: Irina Stasiw - 11/10/2013
    A: Hi Irina
Measure your dog along the back from withers to base of tail. Also the circumference of the chest at the largest point, right behind the front legs. Those two are the most important measurements. Make sure your dog has several inches of room in the chest, so allow freedom of movement.
    Thank you,
    Katja

Q: Hi, Does this coat comes in the Juniper color? ( Teal with bright green) I see it in the Hurtta web page, so I was wondering if you have it.
    Asked by: StefanieH - 9/20/2013
    A: Hi Stefanie
The Juniper color is not in the Hurtta America collection. I can special order it for you from Finland, but it would be more expensive.
I have just placed an order in Finland so it would be with the next shipment.

Q: Hi, I want to order these for my two Havanese and I am totally confused by the sizing, and also your measuring which seems different from the way it is described on Hurrta's website. Using the latter description: My bitch is 11"/28cm (back length); 12.75"/33 cms (neck); 16"/40.5 cms (chest); 14"/35 cms (waist); 3.5"/9cms (foreleg); 5"/12 cm (hind leg from groin to hock). My Male is 14"/36cms; 13.25"/34cms; 17"/43cms; 14"/36cms; 4.5"/11.5cms and 4.5"/12cms. What would be the best size for these dogs? Thanks, Linda
Asked by: Linda Aronson DVM - 10/14/2013
    A: Hi Linda
Based on your measurements I recommend size 12S and 14S for your dogs.
I have also sent you an email.
