    Description

This very popular Jumpsuit has been discontinued and replaced by the Hurtta Body Suit.
Great 4legged fleece suit for small as well as large dogs. The soft and comfortable Microfleece Jumpsuit is designed for walks in cold and chilly weather. It is perfect for short-haired dogs and dogs with no under coat on chilly days, and for added warmth for thick furred dogs in freezing conditions. Familiar from technical sports garments and renowned for it's efficient thermal insulation properties, Microfleece is a completely noise-free and pleasant knitted fabric, especially suitable for dogs unaccustomed to wearing garments. The light and unobtrusive Overalls protect all your dog's most important muscle groups as well as the neck and sensitive chest area. The sizes have been completely revamped to cater to a large variety of body shapes. The design allows the dog (both boy and girl) to go to the bathroom unhindered and without having to remove the suit. Zipper down the length of the back allows for easy on and off, and as it's set a bit to one side it allows for an opening for leash attachment to a collar or harness. The sleeves have been kept intentionally short to provide sufficient protection to the dog's muscles without hindering movement. The soft, breathable fleece allows excess heat to pass through and keeps the dogs body temperature pleasantly consistent. The suit has prominently placed 3M reflectors for added safety and visibility. Perfect for adding extra warmth under the Slush Combat Suit. Please note that these overalls are NOT wind and waterproof.
Available in 20 sizes fitting every breed from Chihuahua to Great Dane, in two colors, Black and Birch.
Please measure your dogs back length, chest and neck circumference as show in the 'How to measure' video below. This is a loose fitting product so the chest will be roomy on most breeds.

When fitting this suit to your dog, please make sure to tighten the lower neckline with the drawstring that is on the inside of the suit. There is no stopper so tie a little loopy knot to make it stay in place where you want it. This will ensure a proper fit.

Great zippered fleece jacket for my awkwardly sized dog
First of Katja was EXTREMELY helpful with the sizing from Hurtta, which I found difficult to follow and she cleared it up. My dog is very skinny in the waist and neck and a very broad, deep chest and almost no hair on her underside. I had another fleece jacket for her with a velcro close along the back that kept opening because the velcro was terrible and her chest was too wide, even though the sizing was supposedly correct. This jacket is wonderful because it has a zipper close and has cinch pulls to adjust the size to the dog around the waist and neck. Two great things to mention: (1) there is a button on the top of the jacket near the neckline that is UNDER the zipper. What is wonderful about this button is that you can put their feet into the front legs, button the back which holds the jacket in place, zipper the back, then put the back legs in. It looks difficult to get into, but that button makes it a million times easier. It takes me under 30 seconds to put on my dog. (2) I have another name brand dog jacket for my other dog and this one was $20 cheaper; in the end, I wish I would have gotten two of these because they are better with a better price. The pictures do make the jacket look poofier than it really is. When I got it I thought maybe it wasn't thick enough for my shivering dog, but after she is moving around she heats up and the heat stays in better with the full body jacket. In fact, sometimes she gets toasty. If I notice she's really warm I partially unzip the neck to cool her off and that awesome button keeps the jacket from unzipping all the way.

    Bad winter - Great coat
Very light weight coat, but very warm. Have a pit bull that does not like cold at all. Will not walk 5 feet from the door without this coat on. Takes some getting used to put on, but once you figure it out it is pretty simple. Would recommend this coat for anyone in colder climates.

Fantastic Jumpsuit for our Boxer girl!
We bought this jumpsuit for our Boxer girl who has lost a lot of hair due to chemotherapy. The jumpsuit is toasty warm and our girl loves them! They aren't difficult to get on but it does take a couple minutes and a dog that is willing to stand while you align all 4 legs and get the back zipped up. Georgia wears this jumpsuit under her Ultimate Warmer Coat on really cold days and she also wears them as pajamas inside the house. When worn as PJs, we loosen the bungee cords, which are secured by just a knot. It would be helpful to have something that makes it easier to change the bungee cord settings, as the knots can be hard to untie. Also, it is important to get the right size because if the jumpsuit is too long, it will bag down beyond the tail and that's not good when the dog "needs to go." Katja helped us pick the perfect size and when the bungee is drawn up, the jumpsuit doesn't interfere with "the business." And Georgia just looks so darn cute as she struts along in her jumpsuit! We highly recommend this product!

I purchased this in black for my 17 month old Boston Terrier. And, in these sub zero temperatures we've been having it comes in pretty handy. It's beautifully made, durable, and easy to get on. I highly recommend purchasing this item for all short hair dogs whether big or small.

    A must have for winter
Needed something to keep the snow from getting up and under Rexs’ arms and legs, never though our darling would get the flu this winter when we were visiting Newport. Kept him toasty while he recovered and the doc actually said keeping him warm like that helped him recover quicker. Just like when we huddle under the covers. The snap on the top of the suit lets you put it on without the fumbling that occurs with other one pieces as the pooch keeps trying to get out of it like ours does. The underbelly opening is far enough up his belly which has been an issue with a number of other manufacturers. Not all boys are the same…. We use this under the Hurta Ultimate Warmer Dog Coat for when the conditions are very cold, snowy or both. It has been both much more than I’d care for this year but I feel like a good doggie Mom this year as our Rex has as much protection from the elements as is possible. An unexpected plus has been the lack of snow tracked in after his outings. It always took a bit of time to get the snow balls off of him, now it’s just his feet we address. Much easier. I’d recommend this suit to anyone who lives in cold and snowy climes. Katja also needs mentioning in this review as without her help I initially purchased the wrong size!

Q: I bought the Slush Coat for my Miniature Poodle in size 12L because the neck and legs were longer than the 12S. Is this true for the micro-fleece coat? I prefer a higher neck and longer legs so this will make the difference in what I order - if there is a difference. Thanks!
    Asked by: Susan - 11/13/2013
    A: Hi Susan
Thank you for your question about the Microfleece Overalls.
Yes, the leg length is the same on the Microfleece Overalls as the Slush Combat Suit.
    Thank you,
    Katja

Q: Our English Setter measures 22 in long (20-24 inches depending on how he is standing), 27 in chest, 20 in waist, 16 in neck. He currently has a 50cm/20in Winter Dog Coat that fits him well but the back of the coat doesn't quite extend to the base of his tail. (We originally ordered a 24 inch that was way too big.) We want to order a microfleece jumpsuit, but I want to make sure it is big enough for him to curl up in since we will be using it to keep him warm at night when we go backpacking. I also want to make sure the coat does not get in the way of him urinating. What size would you recommend?
    Asked by: Dusty - 11/19/2013
    A: Hi Dusty
Sounds like your boy is size 22". If 20" is a bit too short and 24" is too big.
Whether you should choose size 22M or 22L depends on how long you want the legs.
Legs on 22M are 7" and legs on 22L are 11".
Chest on 22M is bigger, but I think either size will work for you.
The Overalls are designed so they are open and unrestricted for urinating etc.
    Thank you,
    Katja

Q: I have a small (9 pound) mixed wirehaired mail dachshund/terrier that is losing his hair. I am interested in your coats that cover the mech legs and chest, but am concerned that he would end up peeing on the coat - I cannot find any pictures of the underside of the jackets. Is this a problem? Also this summer we are going to need some type of lightweight shirt or cover to keep him from getting sunburned when we take him for a walk? Any solutions for this issue? Thx
    Asked by: Donna - 1/4/2014
    A: Hi Donna
All the Hurtta Overalls cover the dogs chest but stops at the last rib, so the belly is not covered so the boys can pee unhindered.
The backend, under the tail is exposed as well.
I am considering adding some T-shirt material suits and tank tops for dogs with allergies and sun sensitivities for the summer season.
The tank top will be priced at $20-30 depending on size, and the Suit will be $29-39 depending on size.
    Thank you,
    Katja
